I give this book a:
5 out of 5 and Yes I would recommend it to everyone!

I LOVE THIS BOOK!!! Now that we have that out-of-the-way =)

Eleanor Fitt is a 16-year-old girl, living with her mother in Philadelphia year 1876 but somethings not quite right. The dead are starting to come back. And one day when Eleanor went tot he post office to see if her brother had sent her a message the post office was attacked by the dead and one of the dead has a message for her from her brother. *GASP* I know right creepy. Eleanor is determined to save her brother from the dead so she goes seeking help from the Spirit-Hunters. Were she meets the snarky but handsome inventor Daniel.

How can you not like a book that has Zombies and handsome boys in it now there is a love triangle and for me I’m getting a bit tired of love triangles but really it’s not even a major point of the book the other boy is just there because her mother keeps pushing her to him.

And I have to say the séance scene was really very cool.

This book just had me going from the get go I love regency romance novels. This book had all of that and zombies. Heck adding zombies to anything makes it awesome. Susan Dennard is a great author and I can’t wait for SSD’s sequel to come out sometime next year.
